In addition to the curriculum subjects studied a wide range of extracurricular activities are also available at lunch times and after school. Teachers will identify additional opportunities relevant to their subject beyond the classroom so that students are able to follow up and develop further. The Villiers Park Inspiring Excellence Programme offers residential subject-specific courses for academically able A level students. The courses are specifically designed to encourage and challenge students who are considering applying for the top universities in the UK. Previous attendees have found the experience invaluable in helping them secure and prepare for interviews for Oxbridge and other Russell Group universities. In addition, attendance on one of these courses can also be counted as the residential element for your Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.
